CLASS CAMP
well class camp was awwum. too bad karan and joey and anthea and eugene couldn't come. they missed out on a great time. to begin, the hike was not tiring and it was quite short since it was only 5-6km but it was tedious la. but we had fun along the way, esp at the jetty near chek jawa where we had a lepak session. we didn't wanna leave that spot really. then cooking and pitching bashas in the evening was great also. everyone was doing something and it was great to see. then after dinner, sitting around in a circle playing 'i've never/i have' was awwwsum and funny and SICK at times. haha. and the hopping-over-the-rope=if-you-agree game by mr shukor was very eye-opening as well. there were some things i would never have expected. next day the games were awwsum. firing cannons, skipping rope and playing with numbers & letter was more fun than any of us expected. then we left the camp feeling quite satisfied, hiked back to the ferry point and left. quite a cool 2 days really.
SCHOOL
well as of monday this week, i found motivation for school again. well i was coming to school and attending lessons (and ponning some of course) without a sense of purpose because i saw no value in the stuff that was being taught. well now i still find it hard to find meaning in the lessons, but inexplicably the motivation to actually do well has returned. and i'm glad it has. and i think i can only thank God for that.
and generally, i don't like rj. the timetables are weird and you don't get to see your friends as much as you would like to. i still dislike the lecture-tutorial system. and i totally hate the way we're taught; it's so obviously result-oriented and exam-directed. they tell you what you should think basically. URGH.
ME
well when people look at me, they don't expect me to be the sort to do certain things. and they're quite surprised when i tell them that i do indeed do them. some are ok and some disapprove with some of them. and for those who disapprove, i'm sorry if i continue to do the things i do. but give me time, i probably need it for something to hit me in the face and knock some sense into me. but until then, forgive me.
